Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in coursework and related experience.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive experience in the real estate or health care field.
  • At least two years of proven sales or promotion track record.
  • Prior experience selling or promoting senior residential and health care services is highly preferred.
  • Reliable car transportation with insurance and a valid driver's license.

  • Experience in promotion, public relations, or admissions.
  • Knowledge of residential, psychological, social, and health care needs of seniors.
  • Ability to develop marketing strategies to compete within the local market.

Responsibilities

  • Receive walk-in/call-in visitors and use software systems to identify and contact leads.
  • Explain and demonstrate the benefits of residing and receiving care at the community to prospective residents and their families.
  • Communicate sales and contractual information and close contract sales to maintain and improve occupancy levels.
  • Solicit assistance from community staff to promote and explain community services, practices, policies, and pricing.
  • Review software databases to identify and follow-up on leads from all sources.
  • Encourage prospective residents and families to make wait list deposits.
  • Maintain long-term contact with prospects to encourage familiarity.
  • Encourage and promote visits and tours of the community.
  • Meet established goals regarding contacts and tours to achieve desired sales goals.
  • Enter updated prospective resident information and status into the lead management system.
  • Maintain positive relationships with current residents and their families.
  • Identify religious, civic, and social groups to expand the referral network.
  • Cultivate leads with current residents through positive interaction.
  • Follow-up with resident referrals as identified.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events to attract referrals and prospects.
  • Conduct personal tours of communities for prospective residents and families.
  • Communicate community features to compete with competitors.
  • Explain fee structures and the physical and financial assessment processes to prospects.
  • Obtain necessary personal information and prepare standard legal documents for signature.
  • Request assistance from marketing assistants for logistics of new resident moves.
  • Prepare written reports and communicate status of current success.
