Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in coursework and related experience.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive experience in real estate or health care.
  • Experience in promotion, public relations, or admissions.
  • Minimum of two years with a proven sales or promotion track record.
  • Prior experience selling or promoting senior residential and health care services is highly preferred.
  • Reliable car transportation with insurance and a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of residential, psychological, social, and health care needs of seniors.
  • Ability to develop marketing strategies to compete within the local market.
  • Experience with marketing software.

Responsibilities

  • Receive walk-in and call-in visitors and use software systems to identify and contact leads.
  • Explain and demonstrate the benefits of residing and receiving care at the community.
  • Communicate sales and contractual information and close contract sales.
  • Solicit assistance from community staff to promote and explain community services.
  • Review software databases to identify and follow-up on leads.
  • Encourage prospective residents and families to make wait list deposits.
  • Maintain long-term contact with prospects to encourage familiarity.
  • Promote visits and tours of the community.
  • Meet established goals regarding contacts and tours to achieve sales goals.
  • Enter updated prospective resident information into the lead management system.
  • Maintain positive relationships with current residents and their families.
  • Identify groups to expand referral network.
  • Cultivate leads through positive interaction with current residents.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events to attract referrals.
  • Conduct personal tours of communities for prospective residents and families.
  • Communicate community features to compete with competitors.
  • Explain fee structures and coordinate required staff interviews.
  • Prepare standard legal documents for signature.
  • Maintain contact with new residents to ensure their wellbeing.
