Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED, with up to three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office products, with the ability to quickly learn additional software program
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage and track a calendar of upcoming bid opportunities
  • Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Smartsheet and Salesforce is a plus
  • Experience reading mechanical plans is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key point of coordination between Account Managers and the Estimating Team to ensure effective use and compliance of Salesforce.
  • Review and identify potential opportunities through various search engines used by the business
  • Download, organize, and review project documents for critical information
  • Enter opportunities into Smartsheet as requests for proposals are received
  • Receive customer requests and link them to Salesforce opportunities (once Salesforce is implemented)
  • Forward opportunities and proposals to Account Managers and Estimating Teams
  • Maintain organized opportunity and proposal files
  • Assist in finding, entering, editing, and managing critical data related to opportunities
  • Support Account Managers with follow-up activities after bids have been submitted
  • Run reports and create dashboards that track performance and support business objectives
  • Provide general administrative support to the sales teams
