The Sales Coordinator (“Coordinador/a de Ventas") assists the Director of Sales and Sales Managers in performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative duties to support your team.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training.
  • A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement.
  • Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
  • Effectively utilizes office systems (Ivvy, Microsoft Word, and Excel).
  • Competency using a variety of computer application software.
  • Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous similar position in a top-quality restaurant, hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
  • Experience in dealing with the public is preferred, such as retail cashier, food industry service, guest service with public contacts, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for guests and clients.
  • Answers phone efficiently and professionally.
  • Coordinates and organizes the sales office and supplies.
  • Ensures that all sales activities are logged in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Responsible for the coordination and implementation of new procedures and is supporting contact between hotel and program provider.
  • Creates and maintains client database in CRM.
  • Prepares memorandums and assists with timely submission of proposals, contracts and addendums.
  • Orders office supplies and maintains an inventory of supplies and sales collateral.
  • Run weekly reports
  • Assist in updating Sales Collateral, Sales information and Sales platforms
  • Participates in the safety program and is involved in keeping working area and property safe and productive.
  • Organize and implement administrative systems & procedures and perform necessary support duties for the Sales team.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
