About The Position

The Brewery Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with distributors and retail partners, and representing the Big Lug Brewing in the marketplace. This role blends hands-on selling with strategic planning and brand stewardship, ensuring Big Lug beers and beverages are placed, promoted, and poured in the right accounts.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of sales experience in beer or beverage related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of craft beer styles and interest in the brewing process.
  • Experience working independently and managing time effectively.
  • Ability to lift and move beer kegs/cases.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends when needed for events and launches.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving history.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales within assigned territories and key accounts.
  • Develop strong relationships with bars, restaurants, and retail partners.
  • Open new accounts and expand placements in existing accounts.
  • Execute beer launches, promotions, tastings, and special events.
  • Work alongside operations and administration team determine pricing, incentives, and inventory levels to ensure healthy depletion.
  • Work alongside administration team to track sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.
  • Provide monthly sales reports and insights to leadership.
  • Represent the brewery at festivals, events, and industry functions.
  • Ensure brand standards are upheld in all accounts.
