Requirements

  • Must be self-directed, motivated and demonstrate intuitive customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate for hospitality and effectively engages with internal and external clients.
  • Communicates clearly, concisely, and openly in all interactions.
  • Has exceptional attention to detail, organizational, analytical and time management skills.
  • Multi-tasks and prioritizes in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Exercises sound judgment evaluating situations and utilizes appropriate and creative resources to solve problems.
  • Is technologically savvy, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Delphi FDC and Opera preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the efforts of the sales team to drive top-line revenue for the hotel.
  • Manages and assigns all sales inquiries for group, catering, and private dining sales in a timely manner.
  • Assist sales managers with preparation of contracts, proposals, and addendums.
  • Create departmental POs and maintain inventory of office supplies, collateral, and promotional materials.
  • Accurately record and process direct opportunities in hotel sales system (Delphi FDC and Tripleseat).
  • Assist clients and media in the absence of the Sales Manager.
  • Coordinate client site inspections, preplanning visits, customer events.
  • Assist managers with RFP responses, and meeting arrangements as needed.
  • Process event turnovers to our operations team to ensure successful execution.
