Boater’s World Marine Centers in Lake Placid, Florida is looking for enthusiastic, driven, and customer-focused Sales Consultants to join our growing team. Requirements

  • Positive, competitive mindset with a strong team-first attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused approach with a passion for helping people
  • Sales experience preferred; marine experience a plus (training provided)
  • Basic knowledge of boats, motors, or marine products is helpful but not required
  • Comfortable using computers, email, CRM, and DMS systems
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn the marine industry
  • Valid driver’s license and weekend availability

Responsibilities

  • Deliver an Outstanding Customer Experience
  • Create a welcoming, professional, and engaging experience for every customer
  • Build strong relationships by understanding customer needs and guiding them to the right boat or product
  • Jump in wherever needed—Sales, Service, or Parts—to ensure every customer leaves satisfied
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and a polished, professional appearance
  • Communicate proactively with management about customer needs and opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture where success is shared
  • Engage confidently with walk-in, phone, and online leads
  • Follow up on inquiries, conduct product demonstrations, and coordinate test drives
  • Accurately enter and manage customer information in the Dealer Management System (DMS)
  • Prepare, review, and process sales documentation with attention to detail
  • Participate in dealership promotions, sales events, and community initiatives
  • Work toward achieving and exceeding sales goals in a motivated, competitive environment
