About The Position

John Jones Auto Group in is looking for a Sales Consultant to join our sales team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional service, product knowledge, and a positive dealership experience. This role focuses on building relationships, understanding customer needs, and helping customers select the right vehicle while upholding the professional standards of John Jones Auto Group.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive sales experience preferred but not required; training provided.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable using technology, CRM systems, and digital communication tools.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally upon their arrival at the dealership.
  • Engage customers to understand their needs, preferences, and buying motivations.
  • Present and demonstrate new and pre-owned vehicles, highlighting features, benefits, and value.
  • Conduct thorough product presentations and vehicle walk-arounds.
  • Assist customers with test drives following dealership safety protocols.
  • Provide accurate information regarding pricing, financing options, warranties, and dealership programs.
  • Maintain knowledge of current inventory, incoming units, promotions, and manufacturer incentives.
  • Prepare and present purchase proposals in a clear and transparent manner.
  • Work closely with Sales Managers and Finance team to ensure smooth deal processing.
  • Maintain regular follow-up with prospective and existing customers via calls, emails, and CRM tools.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance expectations.
  • Uphold John Jones Auto Group’s customer service standards and represent the dealership with professionalism.
  • Stay informed on automotive trends, product updates, and industry changes.
