As a Sales Consultant at Obex MedTech Australia within the Diagnostic/Surgical /Oncology clinical segment, you will play a pivotal role in achieving and surpassing sales budgets by leveraging your sales skills, technical expertise, and exceptional customer relationship abilities. Your primary responsibility will be to represent our portfolio of devices. Reporting to the National Sales Manager for the Diagnostic/Surgical/Oncology segment, you will work closely with external customers (mostly, gynaecology/breast care surgeons, radiologist and theatre staff) to contribute to our vision of delivering superior clinical outcomes for Australian patients across Victoria. To excel in this role, you will need a unique blend of MedTech experience, skills, and personal attributes that align with Obex MedTech Australia’s values and mission. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is values-driven, resilient, intellectually sharp, commercially minded, and customer-focused. You should be a team player who is continually learning and strategically agile.

Requirements

  • MedTech Sales Experience: Proven experience in surgical sales, particularly in the healthcare industry.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn and disseminate technical information effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical abilities to prioritise tasks and achieve optimal performance.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong ability to present information clearly and confidently.
  • Self-Driven: Ability to work autonomously, showing initiative and proactive behaviour.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, fostering a collaborative environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical Background: Experience as a registered nurse or allied health professional, with relevant clinical or product knowledge.
  • Commercial Acumen: Previous commercial or sales experience, with strong business writing and account management skills.
