About The Position

Alsco is looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our team in Indianapolis, IN! The ideal candidate will have the drive and hunter mentality needed to build a book of business from the ground up. We are looking for individuals who thrive in competitive, relationship-driven sales environments and who can successfully prospect, close, and grow accounts. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of B2B or outside sales experience (industry experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven success in hunting new business, not just account management.
  • Resilient, motivated by financial success, and able to handle rejection with persistence.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience building and maintaining long-term business relationships.
  • Familiarity with route-based or service-oriented sales models is a plus.
  • Competitive, money-motivated, and entrepreneurial.
  • Track record of prospecting and generating new accounts.
  • Comfortable with face-to-face selling, cold calling, and territory development.
  • Team player who values company culture and long-term growth opportunities.
  • Experience with cold calling, walk-ins, networking, and building a pipeline.
  • Not afraid to talk to ANYONE
  • Daily travel within designated sales territory.
  • Work in a mix of office, industrial, and customer environments.
  • Physical Demands/Requirements consist of standing, sitting, walking, stooping, driving, grasping, moving equipment, pushing, pulling, reading, speaking, hearing, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Vehicles on public roads, inside general offices, customer locations, areas of a typical industrial laundry facility, Service Center or depot.
  • Daily, driving by vehicle within a designated sales territory.
