About The Position

Eikenhout is a wholesale distributor of exterior building products. We have seven locations throughout Michigan and have been in business for over 125 years. We have established a tradition of excellence in providing our clients with knowledgeable, friendly service and fine exterior building products. We are currently seeking a Sales Consultant for the Greater Lansing area. This position is responsible for selling exterior building solutions to existing and prospective contractors. Successful Sales Consultants establish relationships with their customers based on trust, professionalism, and their expert knowledge. This position works closely with our Lansing branch and vendors to ensure the best customer service. We are looking for a high energy person with a strong work ethic. Our Sales Consultants have strong communication skills and can work independently.

Requirements

Proven track record in acquiring new business in a goal-oriented sales environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service to internal and external customers
Demonstrated attention to detail and follow through
Excellent time management and organization skills
General computer skills with working knowledge of Word and Excel
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
