About The Position
Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization. Leith Volkswagen of Cary has an outstanding opportunity for a Sales Consultant to join their team and the Holman Family. The Principal Purpose of this position is to oversee all aspects of the sales of vehicles and associated paperwork. This includes greeting customers, performing needs analysis, explaining features and benefits, demonstrating vehicle operation, researching vehicle availability, negotiating sales prices with Sales Managers and F&I, inspecting inventory, completing paperwork, and arranging for vehicle detail and delivery. The role also involves familiarizing customers with their new vehicles, maximizing the customer experience, assisting Sales Managers with customer problems, and attending required training and department meetings.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED

Responsibilities
- Oversees all aspects of the sales of vehicles and associated paperwork.
- Greets customer on sales floor and performs a needs analysis including make, type, and features of vehicle desired.
- Explains features/benefits and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom or on road.
- Researches availability of models and optional equipment using computer database.
- Works with Sales Managers and F&I and negotiates sales price, lease payment, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, and discount / rebates.
- Walks the lot and visually inspects inventory.
- Completes all paperwork and arranges for detail and delivery of vehicle.
- Delivers and familiarizes the customer with vehicle.
- Maximizes the customer experience.
- Assist Sales Manager with customer problems.
- Attends/completes required training and department meetings.
