Job Summary: As a Furniture Sales Consultant, you will excel in guiding customers through the selection process of furniture, bedding, and electronics. The essential job functions and responsibilities include the following: Greet customers and assist them in selecting furniture products that meet their needs and preferences Provide customers with product information, features, and benefits, as well as pricing and payment options Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends and product releases Conduct product demonstrations and answer customer questions to facilitate the buying process Work with the management team to achieve sales targets and ensure the smooth operation of the store or showroom Process sales transactions and discuss financing options Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure their satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns Assist with merchandising, stocking, and maintaining the appearance of the store or showroom Perform other duties as assigned by management Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in the furniture or home décor industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong sales skills and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets Knowledge of furniture products, materials, and manufacturing processes Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently Fluency in Spanish is preferred Work hours: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, weekends and holidays Physical Demands: Physical ability to lift and move furniture products, as well as stand for extended periods of time and have the ability to lift and carry 25-50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and reaching to retrieve items Training and support: Comprehensive training and ongoing support Participate in sales training and professional development opportunities Salary-Draw Against Commission: This structure provides a base salary or hourly wage, along with a commission on sales. The base salary is essentially an advance against future commissions, and once the employee's commission earnings exceed the base salary, they receive the excess as additional income. Requirements
