About The Position

The Automotive Sales Consultant at Porsche San Diego is responsible for engaging with customers to understand their automotive needs and guiding them through the vehicle selection and purchasing process. This role emphasizes building positive relationships with customers and providing a rewarding buying experience, while also collaborating with team members to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of luxury automotive experience in automotive sales required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Proficient in computer systems and sales software.
• Valid Driver's License and clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• High School Diploma and one year of related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers to understand their automotive needs.
• Provide guidance on vehicle features, specifications, and financing options.
• Conduct test drives and highlight vehicle benefits.
• Assist with the purchase process and complete necessary paperwork.
• Stay informed about inventory, promotions, and industry trends.
• Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the customer experience.
• Negotiate sales prices and lease payments with customers, sales managers, and F&I personnel.
