Job Overview Hassler Heating and Air Conditioning is the leading residential heating and air conditioning company in the greater Berkeley and Oakland area and we're looking for an experienced and motivated Heating, Air Conditioning and Energy Upgrade Comfort Advisor. Hassler is growing our Sales Department and we are searching for a top performer to help us in our continued growth. Are you experienced in-in home HVAC sales? Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in selling residential and light commercial HVAC systems
  • Knowledge in designing in home HVAC comfort systems (split systems, heat pumps and mini splits).
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check (no felonies or theft related misdemeanors)
  • Must obtain CA required HIS (CSLB) License
  • Clean driving record
  • Have the desire to grow, succeed and excel in your trade.
  • Self-starter, able to follow and give directions, and practice good communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Interested in a career

Responsibilities

  • Exemplify Hassler Core Values in all interactions with customers, team members and management.
  • Performing field estimates, writing quotes, and cleanly handing off sold jobs to the Installation Department.
  • Bid all jobs using Hassler’s proprietary software (sales tool).
  • Complying with the responsibilities and expectations of the Hassler Customer Sales Policy, Commissions policy, and Sales Directives.
  • Responsible for handling all sales leads furnished by the company in a timely and professional manner and documenting communication the disposition of each lead in Salesforce.
  • Educate prospects on Value; not price: Inform customers of all special promotions, the benefits of high efficiency equipment and optional equipment and products.
  • Assist in finding problems and improving sales tool language and functionality.
  • Assist in bringing in positive company reviews and help mitigate any customer complaints.
  • Help build relationships with subcontractors, property managers, realtors, etc. to drive more business to Hassler.
  • Follow up with customers and consistently strive for referrals on all jobs.
  • Be available for a reasonable number of marketing or lead generation events.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and arrive on-time.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times using a consultative sales approach to determine needs and then provide solutions that solve the customer’s issues and generate a high rate of referral-based sales.
