Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sales Consultant or in similar positions in Automotive, Retail, Sales, or Hospitality industries.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma/GED is desired.
  • Valid CA Driver License is required.
  • Valid CA Sales License is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, monitors, and adjusts sales goals with sales management to achieve personal and Company sales objectives.
  • Consistently meets or exceeds the goal of satisfying the transportation needs of Clients.
  • Proactively works with management to develop action plans to correct performance and meet sales goals.
  • Sells, leases, and delivers a pre-agreed upon minimum amount of vehicles.
  • Greets and assists all Clients entering the dealership showroom or sales lot.
  • Assists Clients in selecting vehicles by asking questions and matching their expectations with available vehicles.
  • Offers test drives to all Clients and follows Company policies regarding test drives.
  • Understands and follows all Company, local, state, and federal policies regarding automobile sales.
  • Explains vehicle equity, values, and depreciation to Clients.
  • Ensures a member of the sales management team meets each Client.
  • Forwards closed deals to the Finance and Insurance Manager with completed paperwork.
  • Ensures sold vehicles are ready for delivery prior to Client arrival.
  • Delivers vehicles to Clients and explains operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
  • Introduces Clients to the Service Department Team and schedules first service appointments.
  • Follows up on all post-delivery items to ensure Client satisfaction.
  • Maintains effective relationships with management, team members, and Clients.
  • Utilizes the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool effectively and maintains a Client follow-up system.
