About The Position

As a Sales Consultant in Employee Benefits at CBIZ, you will play a crucial role in driving new revenue through consultative sales strategies aimed at both new clients and existing accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve annual sales goals by developing a robust pipeline of qualified prospects. This involves generating leads through personal contacts, client referrals, and various marketing sources provided by CBIZ. You will be expected to document all activities, notes, and prospect data in the appropriate CBIZ systems to ensure a seamless transition of sold clients to the designated client service team. In this position, you will also be responsible for developing and presenting tailored recommendations to clients based on a consultative selling approach. Building strong, strategic relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations will be essential, as you will serve as a trusted advisor. Additionally, you will communicate regularly with leadership to provide insights on market trends and competitor analysis, which will help inform business strategies. Your role will also include identifying opportunities for cross-selling CBIZ services to other business developers within the organization. You will be expected to meet annual sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the CBIZ Benefits & Insurance Services division. This position requires a proactive approach to sales and a commitment to personal and professional development, as you will be required to create an annual Personal Development Plan outlining your goals for the upcoming year.
