About The Position

The Sales Consultant position at Paychex involves consulting with businesses to educate them on services and provide solutions that enhance market share and drive revenue. Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in relevant sales/marketing capacity.
  • 2 years of experience in a Paychex sales role.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly unit and revenue expectations by prospecting, selling, and submitting new business.
  • Create, manage, and advance accounts, leads, and opportunities daily in the company's CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Utilize digital tools, including conversational intelligence tools, as directed by management.
  • Develop and maintain key referral sources, including Accountants, Banks, and existing Paychex clients.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with existing and new channel accounts through various communication methods.
  • Identify prospects' needs and align Paychex offerings with those needs, presenting pricing proposals to stakeholders.
  • Engage in continuous training and development to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Collect, complete, and submit all necessary digital paperwork for new sales within defined SLA guidelines.
  • Address and escalate client and referral source concerns to Service Partners as necessary.

Benefits

  • Base pay of $55,000 annually + commission.
