Since 1977, we have been growing into the premier residential remodeling company in South Central Wisconsin and we are seeking an experience Sales Consultant to join our passionate team and contribute to our continued success. As a Sales Consultant in our Carpentry Division, you will be the key player in selling our residential remodeling services You will collaborate with clients, designers, project manager and expeditors and our incredible crew of Carpenters to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to sell life changing remodeling projects and grow within a supportive and innovative company environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record required.
  • At least 1 year of in-home sales experience preferred.
  • Experience in the construction or remodeling industry is highly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Some post-secondary education in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on company provided leads with enthusiasm and dedication. No cold-calling, prospecting, or networking required in this role.
  • Meet with new customers in their home for introductory pre-set appointment. Describe how our process works and discuss their wants, dreams, and needs. Take pictures, measurements, notes and create a floor plan sketch. Discuss customer’s budget for the project.
  • Create a Scope Worksheet/Estimate, along with sketches, pictures, and notes.
  • Create a Design Service and meet with customers to sign the Design Agreement.
  • Lead Sold Job Review Meetings with Designer and Project Manager to review Scope Worksheet/Estimate and refine it to create a ballpark price range of the project.
  • Attend Tech Measure Meetings at customer’s home, introduce the team and discuss Scope Worksheet.
  • Participate in Selections Meeting along with Designers at our showroom and at vendor’s showroom.
  • Attend Onsite Pre-Construction Meeting with Project Manager and Subcontractors.
  • Create a Construction Contract and present it with drawings to the customer for their signature.
  • Assist Project Managers and Designers in communicating with customers throughout the project.
  • Create Work Change Orders and obtain signatures as needed.
  • Participate in final walk through with customer, take pictures, issue warranty package and gift.
  • Attend Carpentry Department and Sales meetings as well as work Home Shows and office show room.
