About The Position

The Automotive Sales Consultant at BMW of Tigard is responsible for engaging with customers to understand their automotive needs and guiding them through the vehicle selection and purchasing process. The consultant will also follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and collaborate with team members to enhance the overall customer experience.

Requirements

• Experience in automotive sales or a related customer service role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Proficient in computer systems and sales software.
• Valid Driver's License and clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• High School Diploma and one year of related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers to understand their automotive needs.
• Provide guidance on vehicle features, specifications, and financing options.
• Conduct test drives and highlight vehicle benefits.
• Assist with the purchase process and complete necessary paperwork.
• Stay informed about inventory, promotions, and industry trends.
• Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the customer experience.
• Negotiate sales prices and lease payments with customers, sales managers, and F&I personnel.
