Amazon Advertising is seeking a Sales Compensation Design, Specialist for its rapidly growing Global Advertising business. The ideal candidate is curious with strong business acumen, a relationship builder with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, and an analytical thinker that dives deep into problem solving. They thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment, have excellent written and verbal communication, are detail-oriented and comfortable working with numerous stakeholders in an environment with considerable ambiguity. The successful candidate will have experience in sales compensation or sales operations programs, designing solutions to support high growth. They should be able to juggle competing projects, design (and implement) sales incentive plans to support sales strategies, and work across multiple teams to solve complex problems. This person will work closely with the SIC team, Sales leaders, Finance, HR, Corporate Compensation and other Amazon partner teams to design and deploy sales incentive programs.

  • Support sales incentive design for Global sales team(s)
  • Uses data and analytics to model various Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) scenarios and make design recommendations
  • Collaborate with team members to build cohesive, data-driven stories to describe sales compensation related problems and proposed solutions
  • Ensure sales incentive plans are implementable via tools, process, and controls.
  • Support sales readiness related to incentive program design, including content strategy and training delivery.
  • Support program management of the end-to-end sales compensation design cycle.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in finance, business management and sales operations
  • 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
