About The Position

Cyera is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Compensation Analyst to join our growing Sales Compensation team. As we continue to scale rapidly, this role is critical in ensuring our incentive programs run smoothly, accurately, and in alignment with company goals. In this role, you will manage the operational aspects of sales compensation, including commission processing, data validation, reporting, and process improvements. You'll play a key part in ensuring our sales teams are rewarded fairly, accurately, and on time—contributing to Cyera's continued growth and success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in sales compensation administration or sales operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, etc.).
  • Experience with commission/incentive compensation tools especially CaptivateIQ is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Understanding of sales processes, incentive structures, and common compensation models (e.g., quota attainment, accelerators, SPIFFs).
  • Experience working in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth company environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure complete and accurate employee data and compensation plan details across all relevant systems.
  • Reconcile and analyze large, complex datasets to maintain accurate variable compensation, performance tracking, plan attribution, and sales hierarchies.
  • Administer the end-to-end commission process: data validation, calculation, approval, and timely payout execution.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales Operations, and HR to support plan design and implementation of new compensation programs.
  • Reconcile commission statements and proactively investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide clear, timely responses to commission-related inquiries from sales team members.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize compensation operations and increase accuracy, scalability, and transparency.
  • Develop and deliver dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into compensation performance and program effectiveness.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to support program innovation and scalability.
