About The Position

If you are a Sales Compensation Analyst professional looking for an opportunity to expand your skills, Emerson has an exciting role for you! Based in our Chanhassen, MN location, you will be responsible for supporting the processes and reporting related to the tracking, calculation, audit and payment of sales incentive compensation and commissions. You will also ensure that variable compensation and commissions are accurately calculated and paid timely to eligible employees and representatives, according to their individual compensation plans and agreements. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of two (2) or more years of related experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales compensation payments related to sales incentives and commissions.
  • Ensuring payments are accurate and submitted timely.
  • Developing and handling sales compensation reporting to support quota performance tracking.
  • Processing journal entries related to commissions and bonus accruals.
  • Collaborating with Sales and Finance to forecast and budget for sales incentives and commissions.
  • Auditing order transactions, sales credit splits, and adjustments.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Serving as the primary contact for Sales team inquiries related to variable incentives and commissions.
  • Handling plan exception requests as needed.
  • Identifying and implementing operational improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Leading or supporting cross-functional projects to enhance systems and reporting tools.
