One Energy is seeking motivated and friendly Sales Associates to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the proper and efficient operation of the station during your shift, ensuring increased profitability and growth of the store, and meeting our customers' needs every step of the way. As a Sales Clerk, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the store. You will greet every customer with a smile and sincere greeting, providing the best customer experience by assisting customers in locating products and making recommendations. You will also execute One Energy's customer service program at the site level, ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied. In addition to customer service, you will handle point-of-sale transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper monitoring and accounting for all cash on hand. You will maintain product knowledge and suggest complementary products to enhance the shopping experience. Keeping records of special orders and monitoring merchandise levels will also be part of your responsibilities. Store maintenance is key, as you will be expected to maintain a neat and clean store appearance, including cleaning windows, counters, shelves, pumps, and bathrooms. You will ensure the safety and security of the store, adhering to environmental and hazardous material regulations, and document and report any accidents or incidents that occur. Inventory management is another critical aspect of your role. You will restock products, monitor merchandise levels, and track inventory accurately, notifying management when items are low. This position requires the ability to read, understand, and write the English language, as well as validating identification for tobacco and alcohol sales as required. You should be able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform general housekeeping duties, remain calm and follow procedures in emergencies, and tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products. Working in various temperature environments (coolers, outside, and in-store) is also expected. To qualify, you must be 18 years of age or older and able to lift up to 50 pounds, access all areas of the store, and ensure the physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of store facilities.
