About The Position
This position primarily involves receiving and disbursing cashier duties by selling a variety of merchandise items such as pre-packaged snacks, beverages, and candy. The incumbent will operate a cash register, ring up sales, receive money, make change, process credit card sales, or charge to member's accounts. Responsibilities also include counting and balancing the cash register, completing required paperwork, conducting daily inventories, creating proper displays of goods, pricing merchandise according to pricing guides, and maintaining stock levels. The position requires ensuring proper opening and closing procedures of the facility are followed, maintaining the area in a clean and orderly condition, and performing housekeeping duties in sales and storage areas. Other related duties may be assigned as needed.
