About The Position

Dex Imaging is a leading provider of document handling equipment and services with multiple offices and locations throughout the United States. Vendor agnostic providing the best document handling solutions in the industry with no dependency on a single manufacturer. Dex Imaging is a leader in information technology and a manufacturer of associated electronic document handling reporting devices. We are looking for a Sales Canvasser to identify sales opportunities, qualify and engage appropriate contacts, and drive leads through the sales pipeline. This position assists with daily operation of the sales team ensuring smooth and efficient workflow and serves as a liaison for customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) preferred not required; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM such as Salesforce.
  • Organizational skills and ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Experience in prospecting, appointment setting, and making a high volume of outbound calls.
  • Persistence and ability to overcome objections.
  • Ability to connect individuals at all levels.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for customers.
  • Telephones prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Hands-on involvement in a variety of marketing logistics, including quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Calls on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders via phone or face to face.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and track all invoices and expense accounts against budget.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with prospective and current customers.
  • Coordinates customer training.
