About The Position
As a Sales Associate at Dracut Hardware, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive representation of the store by providing outstanding customer service that aligns with our company values. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring they have a pleasant shopping experience. This includes answering questions, helping customers find merchandise, and suggesting additional products that may enhance their projects. You will also be responsible for processing special orders and creating an inviting atmosphere by keeping the sales floor clean and organized. In addition to customer service, you will be tasked with notifying customers about upcoming promotions and new products, assisting with loading products into their vehicles, and merchandising items according to prescribed planograms. Regular inventory checks and restocking shelves will also be part of your duties. You will need to face and front products throughout the store to maintain a neat appearance and assist other store staff with various tasks as needed. Vigilance in identifying potential shoplifters and adhering to store policies and safety standards is essential. You will also be required to cut keys for customers, which is an important service we provide. To succeed in this role, you should be motivated to learn new skills and expand your knowledge of the retail industry. You will have the opportunity to become a versatile employee, assisting in different areas of the store as needed. With experience, you may also take on a mentorship role for new employees, helping them understand products and retail concepts.
