About The Position

We are looking for a retail Sales Associate (part-time) to join our CAMP team! You will be responsible for guiding CAMP’s families through our retail experience, ensuring they have a magical experience and want to return! This includes bringing the CAMP brand to life and providing a fully immersive experience for customers of all ages. This involves engaging in conversations with families about what they are interested in and for what ages, introducing them to relevant items as well as items they didn't know they want or need, ultimately leading to purchases. You will welcome every guest who walks into our store with a custom greeting and perform your own magic door entrance. You will play with and engage families as they journey through the CAMP experience, demoing and playing with products, working at the crafting or slime bar, and customizing personal shopping experiences for each family based on their interests. You will check families out at the register and inform them about upcoming programs or other CAMP news. Achieving sales targets and KPIs through consistent commitment to providing best-in-class selling experiences is essential. You will build a repeat customer base by creating a selling culture that is approachable, unique, and tailored to individual customer needs. Supporting a positive and productive work environment that fosters diversity, inclusivity, teamwork, creativity, and a passion for the Camp brand is also part of your role. You will assist in merchandising and replenishing the sales floor to ensure the store is fully stocked and always customer-ready, communicate customer and store needs to the General Manager and store leadership, assist with Back of House tasks, and support the General Manager and leadership team with goal achievement (KPIs). You will report to the General Manager (GM) of your home store location and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work at least one weekend day/week, ideally both.
• Part-time role, approximately up to 25 hours/week.
• Positive attitude in all situations.
• Passion for selling and working with people.
• Prior work experience in retail, child-care, child development/education, or performing arts.
• Excellence, enthusiasm, and excitement around engaging with children and families creatively.
• Desire to be part of a tight-knit team transforming the traditional retail experience.
• Patience, warmth, joy, and humor.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the US.
