With a rich history spanning 44 years, Hank's is a premier independent furniture chain with 13 stores across Arkansas, Alabama, and Florida. Job Summary: As a Retail Sales Associate at Hank's Fine Furniture, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and contributing to the overall success of our Rogers store location.

Requirements

• Prior experience in retail sales, particularly in furniture or jewelry sales, is advantageous
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment while delivering exceptional customer service
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills
• Strong communication skills with fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is beneficial
• Capable of standing or walking for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to bend, kneel, squat, and stoop as needed for customer assistance and merchandise organization
• Reach overhead or below waist level comfortably for product handling

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner to understand their needs and preferences
• Demonstrate product knowledge and assist customers in selecting furniture pieces that meet their requirements
• Utilize effective sales techniques such as upselling to maximize revenue opportunities
• Operate POS systems with accuracy and efficiency for seamless transactions
• Maintain a tidy and organized store environment by restocking merchandise and arranging displays
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus to cater to diverse customer needs
• Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers securely
