About The Position

The e-Commerce Sales Associate at AutoNation Ford Burleson interacts with hundreds of customers online, over the phone, and in person to guide their vehicle purchase in a no-haggle sales environment. This role is crucial for responding to leads promptly, answering questions, providing information, and effectively transitioning customers from initial phone and internet contact to an in-store experience, all while delivering exceptional customer service. AutoNation aims to redefine the car-buying experience, offering nationwide inventory and a supportive team to ensure success. The associate will help customers select their ideal vehicle, negotiate terms to align payment options with their lifestyles and budgets, and finalize deals. Post-purchase, the e-Commerce Sales Associate continues to provide an exceptional customer experience, fostering loyalty through follow-ups and facilitating transitions to the Service department for ongoing ownership support. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Drive to set and achieve targeted goals
  • Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • The willingness to follow up with customers
  • Experience and desire to work with technology
  • Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Prior sales experience, retail preferred

Responsibilities

  • Interact with hundreds of customers – online, over the phone and in person – to help guide their vehicle purchase in our no-haggle sales environment
  • Respond to leads in a timely fashion
  • Answer questions, providing information and helping guide customers effectively from phone and internet contact to an in-store experience
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Help our customers select their perfect vehicle
  • Negotiate terms to ensure that payment options meet their lifestyles, budgets, and expectations and close the deal
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience both before and after purchase
  • Drive loyalty by following up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Help transition customers to the Service department to support their ownership experience
