About The Position

As a Sales Associate at Peterbrooke, you’ll help create delightful experiences for guests by offering friendly customer service, sharing product knowledge, and supporting store operations in a fun, chocolate-centered environment. Customer service is the number one focus — you’re there to make people smile (and maybe indulge a little!).

Requirements

• Friendly, customer-focused personality with great communication.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with people and chocolate!
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays (busy gift and seasonal periods).

Nice To Haves

• Retail experience is preferred but not always required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a warm, friendly attitude and help them choose chocolates, gifts, or treats.
• Operate checkout and POS system for purchases and handle cash/credit transactions accurately.
• Package chocolates and gifts , prepare gift baskets, and wrap purchases beautifully.
• Assist with production support like packaging products and following food safety/quality procedures.
• Maintain merchandise displays — stock shelves, organize cases, and create visually appealing presentations.
• Keep the store clean and welcoming : tidy counters, floors, displays, and retail areas.
• Support store events like promotions, chocolate camps, or community activities when needed.
• Help customers to their cars if requested and ensure every guest leaves happy.
