As a Sales Associate at the Soho Sportstyle Store, you will bring the Salomon brand to life through approachable, authentic service, assisting customers with product assortment and helping them find the right size. This role involves achieving set sales targets, efficiently completing assigned tasks, and proactively and positively collaborating with your team.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in retail or customer service, especially in high-volume environments.
  • Natural curiosity, high energy, and positive outlook.
  • Deep enthusiasm for the brand and products.
  • Talent for identifying customer needs and matching them with the perfect products, excelling at driving sales and exceeding targets.
  • Background in customer service to handle any situation with grace and professionalism, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.
  • Knack for motivating and uplifting those around you, fostering a supportive and enthusiastic environment for both customers and team members.
  • Must be available for varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Required to work the day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday).
  • Availability required from the second week of December through early January (return period window).

Responsibilities

  • Achieve set sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the store.
  • Efficiently complete assigned tasks, ensuring smooth and effective store operations.
  • Proactively and positively collaborate with your team, creating a supportive and dynamic work environment.
  • Use exceptional customer service skills, sales techniques, and product knowledge to help customers find the perfect products and drive sales.
  • Incorporate apparel and footwear into styling suggestions, demonstrating how they can create a cohesive lifestyle aesthetic.
  • Quickly and positively find solutions for customers, ensuring a responsive and engaging interaction, with diligent follow-up.
  • Address complaints and objections swiftly and professionally, turning potential issues into positive experiences.
  • Help protect company assets and procedures by promoting loss prevention practices.
  • Ensure the sales floor and stockroom are clean, well-organized, and inviting for customers.
  • Confidently handle cash and digital transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Contribute to maintaining high brand visual standards, ensuring excellence in product presentation at all times.
  • Support with replenishment and pricing duties, including preparation for sales and promotions as needed.
