The Companion Sales Associate directly assists Sales Territory Managers, learning Companion products, services, and the sales process. This role serves as a utility player, covering for Sales Territory Managers on leave and filling open national positions. This is a hybrid position and a foundational step towards becoming a Sales Territory Manager. The candidate must be willing to relocate when ready and a territory becomes available.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field required

  • Understand the Consultative Sales Approach
  • Ability to be coached, learn and retain information, and develop sales skills
  • Openness to take on more responsibility as management sees fit
  • Be comfortable with prospecting, meeting in a professional manager with veterinarians and staff, and complete demonstration of products
  • Desire to become a best-in-class sales professional in the veterinary space
  • Desire to participate in a “Sales Rotational” program learning various aspects of outside and inside sales
  • Interested in traveling for up to 1 week at a time across the U.S
  • Availability to relocate as necessary when available Sales Territory Manager position becomes available
  • Enthusiasm to earn compensation based on performance
