About The Position

Sales Associate (Budtender) – Tracy, CA $17/hr + Tips ($24–$26/hr avg total compensation) Garden of Eden is hiring Sales Associates (Budtenders) for our Tracy location. This is a consultative sales + retail operations role in a fast-paced, compliant cannabis environment. Compensation & Perks: $17/hour + tips (average $7–$9/hour additional) Medical, dental, vision (eligible employees) 401(k) + FSA options Employee discount What You’ll Do: Provide a consultative, education-driven sales experience Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences Execute compliant POS transactions (cash handling required) Follow all cannabis compliance regulations Restock and replenish inventory on the sales floor Process incoming inventory, including barcode labeling and organization Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks Maintain product knowledge and support daily store operations Requirements: Must be 21+ years old Meet all local & state cannabis employment requirements Open and flexible availability required (weekends, mornings, evenings, holidays) 1+ year retail or customer service experience Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume environments Team-oriented mindset with a with a strong sense of accountability and willingness to support both sales floor and operational tasks Preferred: Cannabis dispensary experience Treez POS experience Apply if you’re sales-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing customer service with inventory and compliance responsibilities.
