About The Position

The Sales Associate position at Skin Laundry, located on Union Street in San Francisco, CA, is a part-time role offering $20 per hour. This role requires regular availability on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), 4 days a week, and during clinic operating hours, with schedules committed 60 days in advance. Key responsibilities include engaging clients by welcoming them, educating them on services, memberships, and products, and supporting consultative selling to drive conversion. The associate will also ensure accurate client check-in/out and follow-through on satisfaction. Operational duties involve maintaining clinic cleanliness, restocking products, assisting with cash wrap procedures, and strictly adhering to all operational and compliance policies. Team support is crucial, involving collaboration with peers and leaders to achieve clinic goals, active participation in meetings and training, and a commitment to continuous learning. Marginal functions include assisting with promotional events, inventory counts, merchandising resets, and providing occasional coverage for peer shifts. The role requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of high-volume clinic environments. While travel is not a primary requirement, occasional support to neighboring stores may be needed. This is an on-site role emphasizing in-person connections. Requirements

  • Beginner knowledge of retail operations, POS systems, and cash handling.
  • Passion for skincare and client education.
  • Communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Reliable, proactive, and accountable in daily execution.
  • Basic POS knowledge and comfort in fast-paced environments.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and educate clients on services, memberships, and products.
