About The Position

Now hiring a sales associate for Hand and Stone San Marcos! We have a large member base and many new clients visiting our spas for the first time. Applicants must be friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic, responsible, reliable and have a professional appearance and attitude. Must feel comfortable explaining our wellness plans to new guests and recommending services, enhancements and products to our guests. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. Primary function will be to answer phones, greet guests, check clients in and out and to help run the spa. This is a long-term position. If you are looking for a temporary job, this is not the right position for you. Weekly schedule will consist of 3-4 Monday-Friday shifts from 2:30-8:30pm and Saturdays or Sunday from 11:30am-5:30pm. Please only apply if you can work these shifts. As a front desk sales associate at this location, essential responsibilities revolve around providing excellent services to members and guests. These include: Assisting the spa manager with all day to day activities. Answering busy phones and booking client appointments. Greeting members and guest when they arrive and checking members and guests in and out for appointments Addressing member concerns and ensuring every guest has a great experience. Explaining the benefits of our membership program to new clients and selling memberships. Overseeing a staff of massage therapists and estheticians while on duty and making sure their duties are completed before they leave for the day. Educate our guests on the benefits of massage and facials and be able to explain the benefits of our infrared sauna and facial products Provide excellent service to our guests and members Maintaining impeccable spa environment throughout clinic by continuously checking therapy rooms for neatness, restocking bathroom and assisting with rotating laundry and folding towels. Qualifications We are looking for friendly, outgoing people with a warm personality to welcome our guests and treat them like they are family here at our spa. Having an interest in wellness and a desire to help people is a plus. Experience preferred in any customer service profession such as spas or medical offices, tanning, waxing or fitness centers or any other business with busy phones and interaction with guests. Must be dependable, reliable, responsible and have a strong work ethic Must be able to handle multiple phone calls, check clients in and out and be able to multi-task and prioritize duties when it is very busy, especially at the top of the hour. Be comfortable working on the computer booking appointments and checking clients out. Have previous customer service experience (preferred). Work cohesively with others in a fun and fast-paced environment but also be proactive in finding things that need to be done when things slow down. Also must be able to handle the stress of being busy, be able to find solutions when therapists call out and handle client concerns or questions. Be willing to learn and have a basic understanding of massage and esthetic services and modalities.
