About The Position

The Part Time Sales Associate is responsible for supporting sales performance, delivering exceptional customer experience, and executing day-to-day store operations. This role involves following customer engagement strategies and maintaining merchandising standards to ensure a positive customer experience. Requirements

Must be a minimum of 16 years of age or older.
Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
Minimum availability of 12 hours per week including one weekend day.
Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
Operate office equipment and technology (i.e., cash register, computers, phones, scanners, etc.).
Stand and move throughout the store during scheduled shifts.
Walking and moving to assist customers, retrieve merchandise and recover the store.
Lifting and carrying, ability to maneuver and/or lift 25 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to push/pull full racks of merchandise for restocking the store.
Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items from shelves, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
Manual labor is required occasionally to assemble displays and/or rearrange the store layout.
Vision to accurately read labels, assist customers, and tasks that require attention to detail.
Ability to use fine manipulation, and grasp with hands to sort and organize clothing, ex. place on hangers, folding, organize in color/size order.

Responsibilities

Ensure excellence in customer service in the store by upholding high retail standards to ensure an in-store experience that aligns with company standards.
Initiate conversations with all customers, building a relationship to learn interests and identify products to suggest.
Assist customer in the fitting room.
Recommends product that is aligned with customer needs and preferences through suggestive selling and encourages the customer to make a purchase.
Builds brand loyalty by promoting the rewards program and achieves weekly loyalty sign up goals.
Learn about new products and trends to better engage customers.
Consistently achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
Provides information and advice on product performance, features, and specifications.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Assist in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures assigned, accurately process transactions, handle cash, and maintain point-of-sale integrity.
Follow all company and store policies, processes, and procedures.
React quickly to all customers and/or employee injuries and report them immediately to the manager on duty.
Participates in Loss Prevention Audits, understands and complies with company loss prevention policies to minimize store shrink.
