About The Position

The Sales Associate specializes in excellent customer service and sales. Responsibilities include assisting the customer with any retail related needs while providing a positive shopping experience, general point of sale processing, stocking and tagging merchandise, straightening shelves, monogramming merchandise, and much more! Requirements: Sales and Customer Service oriented Professional, Friendly, Diplomatic, Motivated, and Proactive Creative, Organized and Detail Oriented Excellent Communication Skills, especially Verbal Computer Literate – POS software, Microsoft Excel and Word, email Physically Able to Move Light Furniture, Boxes, and Merchandise up to 30 pounds Responsibilities Include: Initiating and developing customer relationships, and resolving customer service issues in a timely manner Working a register to tender sales Motivated to reach or exceed store sales goals Following store policies and procedures Merchandise displays, signage, and cleanliness, and overall store appearance Maintaining inventory and store supply levels Tagging merchandise correctly Ensuring required store opening and closing duties are complete Monogramming merchandise on the monogram machine or by adding a vinyl Communicating with and assisting co-workers with any operations of the store Additional responsibilities may be added at any time Additional Responsibilities if Store has a Café Include: Make and serve coffee and other beverages Obtain liquor license (TRS will cover the cost of license) Assist with counter food service Requirements: 1 year in retail sales position experience preferred. Ability to work Part-Time status (15+ hours) including nights and weekends Pre-employment background check required
