Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience (medical device preferred) or 2+ years as a KARL STORZ Onsite Specialist
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to travel extensively (up to 90%) and meet hospital credentialing requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of hospital environments such as the Operating Room, Bio-Med, and Central Processing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Professionalism, compliance mindset, and ability to follow hospital and company protocols

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by supporting and leading product demonstrations, trials, and evaluations
  • Provide case coverage and on-site support before, during, and after procedures
  • Assist with or lead installations for newly sold capital equipment and coordinate in-servicing
  • Effectively present and differentiate KARL STORZ products, features, and clinical benefits
  • Build trusted, compliant relationships with physicians, nurses, sterile processing, materials management, and administrators
  • Conduct comprehensive customer visits across departments, including addressing service and repair needs
  • Prepare sales quotes and support promotional initiatives
  • Partner with the local sales team to develop and execute compliant sales strategies
  • Train and educate customers on product use, care, and handling to ensure long-term satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot equipment in the operating room, especially video and integration interfaces
  • Educate users on proper use, reprocessing, and sterilization in accordance with Instructions for Use
  • Support order management, pricing updates, promotions, and issue resolution
  • Manage demonstration and evaluation equipment responsibly
  • Continuously build product knowledge through field experience and required training
