Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid computer, grammar and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
  • This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Up to one day per week may be worked remotely in accordance with the telecommuting policy.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or other related fields is preferred
  • A minimum of 1 years experience selling, opening new accounts and relationship management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the training and development of Software referral BDR team.
  • Generate qualified appointments for the Sales Executives.
  • Determine decision maker and points of contact and merchant card services needs and set up the discovery for the sales executives to address those needs.
  • Contact prospective merchants through cold calling efforts to present information and explain available services via phone.
  • Self-source leads based on ideal client profile to add to pipeline.
  • Log and track activities in the CRM daily.
  • Develop prospects from cold outbound prospecting, inbound leads and trade shows.
  • Travel occasionally to represent Basys at trade shows.
  • Assist the sales manager with day-to-day tasks and projects associated with the BDR team.
  • Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of a specific business
  • Modify and adjust sales processes as needed, with input from management.
  • Assist with marketing efforts when needed, such as mailings to prospects.
  • Other requests as needed.
