About The Position

Sales Associate (Budtender) – Hayward, CA $17/hr + Tips ($24–$26/hr avg total compensation) Garden of Eden is hiring Sales Associates (Budtenders) for our Hayward location. This is a consultative sales + retail operations role in a fast-paced, compliant cannabis environment.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years old
• Must be able to pass Live Scan background check and meet all state cannabis employment requirements
• Open and flexible availability required (weekends, mornings, evenings, holidays)
• 1+ year retail or customer service experience
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Team-oriented mindset with a with a strong sense of accountability and willingness to support both sales floor and operational tasks

Nice To Haves

• Cannabis dispensary experience
• Treez POS experience

Responsibilities

• Provide a consultative, education-driven sales experience
• Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences
• Execute compliant POS transactions (cash handling required)
• Follow all cannabis compliance regulations
• Restock and replenish inventory on the sales floor
• Process incoming inventory, including barcode labeling and organization
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks
• Maintain product knowledge and support daily store operations
