My Sister’s Place is more than a store — it’s a movement to end domestic violence, and we’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on Sales Associate to help us make every donation count and every customer feel valued. This position is part-time, 30 hours per week. Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-4pm. What You’ll Do: Be the heartbeat of our store — sort, price, and display donated treasures with care and creativity. Help customers find items they love while sharing the story behind our mission. Keep the store sparkling and organized, from the front counter to the donation center. Operate the cash register, manage daily receipts, and support inventory control. Step up as acting Store Manager when needed — you’re a leader in the making! Train and guide volunteers and vocational consumers with kindness and clarity. Plan layouts and displays that turn heads and tell stories Inspect merchandise to ensure it’s correctly priced and beautifully displayed. Recommend what stays and what goes — help curate the store’s ever-evolving inventory. Coordinate the disposal of damaged merchandise with care and efficiency.
