Sales Associates will take an active role in assisting the management team to build store business, support service enhancers like Concierge, and service multiple customers simultaneously. They are expected to be aware of fashion trends, seek information about new arrivals, and use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits and suggest items for customers. The role also requires maximizing individual performance by participating in learning opportunities, accepting coaching, and achieving sales and service metrics in areas such as clientelling/outreach, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards. Completing operational assignments like filling orders, replenishment, and recovery is also part of the job.
