Sales Associate (0.5 FTE Day)
About The Position
The Sales Associate for the gift shop provides direct customer service by assisting customers with choosing items from displays. This position assists with displaying and arranging merchandise, keeping the shop clean from clutter, assisting with cash register sales and closing at the end of the day. The Sales Associate also keeps records of sales, returns, damaged merchandise and shortages when closing out the register. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Assists with annual inventory as requested. Assists with pricing, replenishes stock, organizes displays, and promotes merchandise. Assists with the training of volunteer staff on daily routines, including sales and promotions. Dusts shelves and keeps floor clean and clear of clutter. Ensures the gift shop is clean, organized, and free from clutter to prevent falls or injury. Maintains records of sales, deposits, invoices, and bills to ensure cost efficiency. Weekdays from 10:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and/or 12:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- 1 year Retail Experience Preferred
- 1 year Microsoft Office
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree Healthcare or Related Field Preferred
