About The Position

The Sales Associate plays an integral role in Magellan Jets’ growth strategy. This role supports the sales process by qualifying new opportunities, managing inbound leads, and driving outbound prospecting to generate high-quality Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs). Working closely with the Sr. Vice Presidents of Aviation Solutions, their Aviation Advisor teams, and the Manager of Sales Optimization and Intelligence, this individual ensures consistent top-of-funnel activity, lead follow-up, and revenue growth. This is a fast-paced, high-impact position ideal for someone who is self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about building relationships and driving sales success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation, ideally in luxury services or aviation.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Apollo, or other prospecting and CRM tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage prospects confidently.
  • Proven outbound prospecting and lead generation capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Data-driven with proficiency in maintaining CRM systems and reports.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Maintain high energy and motivation while meeting daily and monthly goals.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on marketing-generated inbound leads to qualify or disqualify prospects.
  • Nurture leads and re-engage inactive accounts through CRM-driven outreach.
  • Identify new business opportunities, trends, and competitors in assigned markets.
  • Use insights to refine prospecting strategies and outreach approaches.
  • Conduct proactive outbound calls, emails, and digital outreach to identify new clients.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of self-sourced prospects using CRM tools.
  • Generate 5+ self-prospected leads per month through 30+ outbound calls per day.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to identify prospects.
  • Represent Magellan Jets professionally and build lasting client relationships.
  • Partner with VPs/SVPs, Aviation Advisors, and internal teams to qualify leads and ensure a smooth handoff.
  • Maintain detailed records of all prospecting activities in Salesforce.
  • Provide weekly pipeline and prospecting reports to leadership.
  • Execute timely and consistent follow-up through phone, email, and text per established cadence.
