About The Position

Stryker is a leading medical technology company dedicated to improving healthcare. As a Sales Associate in the Sports Medicine specialty, you will be the face of Stryker products, assisting Sales Representatives in their sales, promotion, and marketing efforts. Your role involves educating and informing doctors, nurses, and other appropriate staff on the proper use, maintenance, functionality, and updates of Stryker products, as well as changes to the product portfolio and educational programs. Following extensive product training, you will be expected to tailor promotional messages based on customer knowledge, advise on appropriate product selection, answer customer questions, and differentiate Stryker products from competitors. This role offers the freedom to manage your time to maximize value for customers and the market, providing the privilege to represent a leading medical device brand and impact patient care.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years in an outside sales position.
  • B.A. or B.S. degree required.
  • Successful completion of in-house product training program.
  • Confident communicators.

  • Medical related fields experience (preferable for outside sales position).

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Sales Representatives in the sales, promotion and marketing of Stryker products.
  • Educate and inform doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products, product functionality and updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
  • Tailor Stryker’s promotional message based upon knowledge of the customer.
  • Advise on appropriate product selection.
  • Answer customer questions about product functionality.
  • Distinguish Stryker products from those of Stryker’s competitors.
  • Routinely negotiate price and terms of transactions between Stryker and its customers.
  • Readily solve customer complaints and questions.
  • Have command of all products, including functionality, features, and factors that differentiate Stryker products from its competitors’ products, and be able to disseminate this knowledge to the customer.
  • Analyze territory market potential prioritize call patterns accordingly.
