About The Position

Linde Services Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill position as an Inside Sales Associate based in The Woodlands, TX. LSI’s industrial services provide Nitrogen pumping and specialty services to Refineries, Chemical Plants, Pipelines, and Terminals. These services include N2 purging, cleaning, LEL freeing, drying, displacing, cooling, leak testing, pressure testing and inspection of piping, furnaces, vessels, reactors, and tanks. The Inside Sales Associate provides essential support to customers and the sales organization by assisting with customer inquiries, identifying needs during the sales process, and preparing quotes on behalf of the sales team. This role supports ongoing customer relationships through order coordination, PO status updates, problem resolution, and collections efforts in partnership with Accounting and Account Managers. The position also works closely with LSI operations to ensure projects are executed to meet customer requirements, maintains a small portfolio of accounts as assigned, and contributes to productivity initiatives. The role operates under general supervision, requires a strong understanding of LSI’s service offerings, and includes limited domestic travel (less than 20%). This self-motivated and results driven individual contributor is accountable for maintaining business within their area of responsibility.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 3 - 5 years customer service experience preferred
  • Familiarity within refining, chemical, natural gas, pipeline and or related industries a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • General customer support and interaction
  • Assist sales teams in exploring customer needs during the course of the sales process
  • Processes quotes on behalf of the sales team
  • Provide support for ongoing customers by answering questions, job coordination, job cost tracking, P.O. status and resolving problems
  • Lead collections efforts working with customers in conjunction with Accounting and Account Managers to collect past due payments
  • Work with LSI operations team as needed to ensure projects are executed in a manner that fulfill the customers’ needs
  • Maintain a small number of accounts directly as requested
  • Works under general supervision
  • Assists or leads productivity projects as requested
  • Learns and understands the LSI service offerings
  • Some domestic travel required <20%
