Part-Time Sales Associate - Westminster
About The Position
Are you a shooting sports enthusiast able to give excellent customer service to our customers? Do you have retail experience or looking to get into the retail industry? Part-time opportunities for Sales Associates described below: Qualifications: High school graduate or GED certificate preferred. Prior retail or sales experience preferably the retail industry. Shooting sports knowledge a plus. Prior retail cashier or cash handling experience is preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Legally eligible to work in a firearms environment. Previous customer service experience preferred. Must be 18 years or older. Essential Functions: Greets all customers. Demonstrates excellent customer service and salesmanship. Demonstrates constant awareness of firearm safety. Executes all required firearms paperwork within legal parameters. Provides product knowledge and helps locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires. Bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and performing repetitive motions. Standing and walking the entire work shift. Ability to work a variety of shifts based on business needs, including evenings, holidays and weekends. Open for business 7 days / week. Job Requirements – Physical Demands: This position requires consistent physical activity and the ability to perform tasks that may include: Lifting and carrying up to [50] pounds repeatedly throughout the day Standing, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods Climbing ladders or stairs as needed Operating tools, equipment, or machinery safely Working in varying weather conditions or environments (indoor/outdoor) Applicants must be able to meet these physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.
