The Sales Associate ensures customer satisfaction by efficiently and accurately scanning tickets and processing payment while following cash handling standards. They educate customers on the Round Up program and inform them about the Good Points program to achieve program goals. The role involves operating the telephone, including professionally answering calls and using the paging system. The associate is responsible for ensuring items are properly displayed, pulled, and restocked in alignment with merchandising standards and leadership guidance. They assist customers in locating items when possible or seek assistance if unable to help. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, completing opening/closing checklists, and supporting general cleaning, including parking lot maintenance, are also key duties.

Requirements

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to work through multiple tasks simultaneously under time constraints.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate a cash register and accurately count money.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience with computers or a willingness and ability to learn.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, with regular and timely attendance in accordance with the assigned work schedule.
