We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Sales Associate with a passion for nature to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a retail setting providing excellent customer service, a desire to learn, and a team-player mentality.

Requirements

Retail experience preferred but not required
Must have a desire to deliver high-energy customer service
Interest in the backyard bird feeding hobby or nature is preferred but not required. We will train you!
Must be able to lift and carry up to 20-50 lbs. repeatedly.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will include closing and weekend shifts, and working during busy holiday periods and sales.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service: Greet and assist customers, and provide expert advice on bird feeding, birdwatching, and nature-related products.
Must be able to consistently lift 20-40 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and spend extended periods on your feet.
Comfortable with computers and able to use a computer-based POS system (training provided).
